horloge-calendrier-big-flip-noire-karlsson
Karlsson Big Flip black calendar wall clock

The black Karlsson Big Flip puts the time and the calendar side by side. The flip display recalls old information boards, while the clock hands give you a familiar way to read the time. The dark case frames the pale lettering and gives this square clock a different presence from a round dial, whether you hang it in a kitchen, a living room or an office.

A calendar you can read at a glance

The day and date have their own display, separate from the clock face. That makes the Big Flip a useful shared reference in a room everyone passes through, instead of something each person checks on a phone. Its office and workshop look works with older furniture as well as cleaner, more contemporary lines.

Against a light wall, the black outline stands out. Next to wood, it adds a sharper contrast; beside metal furniture, it picks up the same understated tones. Leave a little space around the clock if you want the dial to draw the eye, or let it sit among the pieces already on your wall.

Find the right spot before hanging it

Measure the available wall space, then look at it from where you normally sit or stand. A clock that is easy to read from a desk may feel different across a living room. The Specifications section lists the dimensions and power requirements together.

This is the black KA4200, the full-size Big Flip rather than the Mini Flip or another colour. The front and side photos are useful if you are fitting it into an existing room: you can see how the dial and flip panels sit in the case and how far the clock projects.

Looking after your clock

Karlsson recommends a soft cloth and advises against corrosive cleaners or chemical solutions. Follow the supplied instructions for setup and adjustments, and do not force the hands by hand.

Still comparing shapes?
