DescriptionDescription
The elephant seems to leave the ground, held by a striped bow beneath a balloon bearing the word ‘Cirque’. This ACTE TRE card pairs its fanciful subject with a background reminiscent of old correspondence. Stars, a crown and golden-toned flourishes enrich the drawing around the decorated animal.
An imaginary circus scene
The portrait composition leads the eye from the elephant to the large balloon. It may appeal to someone who enjoys unusual images or designs inspired by old papers. It is also a little picture to keep among correspondence mementoes.
Model PK1093 is a flat card measuring 15 × 10,5 cm. It has a glossy finish and a scalloped edge, without the two panels of a folded card.
The Cirque reference
Gold describes the colours in the illustration. This design's appeal lies in its drawn scene; no circus accessory comes with the card.
