DescriptionDescription
A little concert to start the year: the kitten on this ACTE TRE card holds a violin before an audience of birds. The words “Happy new year” at the bottom of the drawing make it a seasonal greeting with an old-fashioned feel.
Music and retro correspondence
Ferns, butterflies and a stamp motif surround the scene. Against a pale background edged in pink, these details recall illustrated cards kept for their drawings as much as their messages. The lettering remains in English on the model offered.
The horizontal composition lets you follow the birds’ gaze towards the musical cat. Whether sending seasonal wishes or a small picture to a cat and music lover, the subject speaks for itself.
Card details
The illustrated stamp is part of the design; it is not valid postage.
