"Don’t Touch" sets the tone before the first page. On this MAJOIE notebook by Artebene, the gold message accompanies a large heart with raised lines resembling a fingerprint. The orange cover contrasts with the zebra design inside: two very different patterns in one notebook.

Lined pages and two markers

Inside are 240 lined pages. They can hold a journal, notes on work in progress or ideas to return to later. The two ribbons mark separate places: the last written page and the start of a frequently consulted subject, for example.

The DIN A5 format gives this writing a regular framework. Before deciding how to use it, you can reserve one ribbon for current notes and the other for an important passage; no particular organisation system is imposed.

The nubuck effect describes the polyurethane finish, not a leather cover. The model offered is the orange version shown in the photographs.
