Wooden Handle Nutcracker | La Bonne Graine

Two wooden handles operate the cast iron head of this La Bonne Graine nutcracker. The nut sits inside the jaws, then bringing the handles together applies pressure to its shell.

A look at how it works

The dark head has ridges inside. The photographs show its enclosing shape and the position of the nut during use. The two handles extend from either side of the metal section.

This manual utensil is sold individually. It opens walnuts to eat or use in a recipe; the nuts shown in the presentation photographs are not included with the tool.
