DescriptionDescription
A gold finish covers this large papier-mâché Daruma. The figurine represents Bodhidharma and has eyes to paint, following the Daruma tradition.
To accompany a personal project, the ritual involves marking the first eye when setting your goal. The other eye is completed when that goal is reached.
The figurine is a visible reminder of a commitment. Its gold colour guarantees neither success nor prosperity: the meaning given to Daruma is symbolic. This reference is the large gold model, with no further dimensions stated.
