DescriptionDescription
This medium gold Daruma is made from papier-mâché, not precious metal. The figurine depicts Bodhidharma and follows the custom of completing two eyes around a personal project.
The eyes as a reminder of a goal
Painting the first eye marks your chosen resolution; the second is added when the project is completed. The ritual is a symbol of perseverance, with no guarantee of success or effect associated with the gold colour.
