La saison des fleurs colour-by-numbers kit

La saison des fleurs is a Petit Crayon colour-by-numbers kit from La Petite Épicerie. A flower-market scene awaits, with 36 coloured pencils and numbered areas to guide you. A pencil project for people who enjoy botanical illustrations.

Colouring among the bouquets

The drawing brings together bouquets, plants and market aisles. Greens and pinks feature in the palette. Each area's number corresponds to a colour, and some sections are already coloured to provide examples.

Materials in the kit

The kit uses coloured pencils. Unlike paint by numbers, the listed materials include neither paint pots nor brushes. The sheet has a prepared drawing to complete, not an entirely blank illustration to design yourself.

Planning a colouring session

Match the numbers to the pencils first. Choose a small part of the market and work gradually, using the precoloured areas as a guide.

For a short session, try a bouquet rather than a whole section. When returning later, locate where you stopped before choosing your next pencil. These are organisational suggestions to adapt to your approach.

A floral project for yourself or a gift

The design will appeal to someone who enjoys flower markets, bouquets and illustrations to complete. When choosing a gift, consider the recipient's taste. The kit contains one illustration; finished photographs do not mean that a second completed drawing is supplied.
