Description
Description

A bento, wrapped sweets, a fan, drinks and a noodle bowl: Week-end à Tokyo gathers small motifs on a pink background. This Yuzu and Mikan illustration, by Laura Gonny, puts Japanese food details at the centre of the Petit Pinceau kit.

A project with many small subjects

The drawing is printed on a 24.5 × 32.5 cm sheet. Numbers guide the colour for each area, so you do not have to draw the objects. Work on a box, bottle or another detail and gradually complete the composition.

The 17 pots are prefilled. Numbered labels identify the colours, keeping them matched to the guides. Two brushes, sizes 4 and 12, accompany the paints.

From drawing to finished illustration

The kit also includes instructions listing the components, practical advice and an interview with the illustrator. La Petite Épicerie estimates 15 to 20 hours for this detailed design, which can be spread across sessions.

Photographs show Week-end à Tokyo and its supplies. The coloured illustration shows the result, not a ready-painted poster supplied in the kit. Reference 210030 designates this specific Petit Pinceau composition.

Who created the Week-end à Tokyo illustration?

Laura Gonny, known as Yuzu and Mikan, created the composition around Japanese food specialities. The kit’s instructions also include an interview with the illustrator.
