Description
Description

Fall into Wonder TGB12 is a 300-piece Rolife book nook kit. A hollow tree opens onto a fantasy library with a tea scene and an illusion of depth. It suits builders who would rather assemble an imaginary literary setting than a miniature street or shop.

A library inside a hollow tree

The front resembles a tree trunk. Steps at its base suggest a stump, while a keyhole-shaped opening appears near the top. Inside, old books share the setting with picture frames, decorative plates and mushrooms. The change from bark to furniture guides your view through the model, from the entrance towards the objects behind it.

A red bookcase has gold details and spade motifs. A chessboard adds another reference to the storybook setting. Elsewhere, a red spotted teapot appears to pour its contents into empty space. These are miniature representations rather than serving accessories. Their arrangement creates a scene in which familiar objects seem to follow unfamiliar rules.

A mirror and a mushroom light switch

Rolife describes an infinity mirror in an area resembling an indoor pool. The optical effect makes the scene appear to continue further back. It is part of the display rather than an actual opening or a working water feature. Looking at the scene from the front helps you read the relationship between the furniture and its reflection.

The lighting has a mushroom-shaped touch control. This particular model uses a Type-C power connection, and the manufacturer states that the cable is not included. Allow a route for your cable when planning its position. The power arrangement for another Rolife kit is not a specification for this one.

Assembling the 300 pieces

Rolife gives an approximate build time of five hours and places this project among its more demanding kits. That figure is a planning guide, not a deadline. The prepared pieces use interlocking construction. Follow the illustrated TGB12 instructions to identify their orientation and the order in which they belong in the scene.

For a project spread over several sessions, we suggest keeping the tree sections, furniture and lighting components in separate groups. Keep the mirror protected while you work on the surrounding assemblies. Before placing the finished book nook, check that the touch control and power connection will remain accessible.

Choosing the story rather than a street

Books, games and perspective effects define this model. Leave its entrance clear when displaying it between volumes, so nearby covers do not hide the interior. Compare it under its exact reference, TGB12 Fall into Wonder, rather than treating every fairy-tale book nook as the same construction project.

How do you light up Fall into Wonder?

A touch switch hidden in a mushroom controls the light. TGB12 uses a Type-C connection; Rolife states that the cable must be supplied separately.

Does the scene's pool really extend into the distance?

An infinity mirror creates the illusion of depth inside the scene. It is a visual effect in the miniature.
