Secrid Premium Miniwallet Basco Whiskey +

The Secrid Premium Miniwallet Basco Whiskey+ combines an aluminium card case with an outer wallet in Italian vegetable-tanned leather. This Plus version also accepts metal cards. It gives you access to your cards in one movement while keeping a separate space for notes and receipts.

Two compartments with different capacities

The case holds up to four embossed cards or six flat cards. The outer wallet can hold up to four additional cards, along with notes, business cards or receipts. The advertised ten-card capacity is therefore the combined maximum, not ten cards inside the mechanism.

The stainless steel lever belongs to this Premium collection. It releases cards from the case without having to open the wallet each time. Compatibility with metal cards applies to this Plus version, not automatically to every earlier Miniwallet.

Basco Whiskey leather

Basco is smooth Italian cowhide with a slightly glossy finish. Artisans at La Bretagna in Tuscany carry out its vegetable tanning. Whiskey is the colour of this model, rather than a selection of different colours or finishes.

Secrid describes leather that changes with use: marks contribute to its patina, a soft sheen develops and the colour deepens over time. This does not mean that the surface will remain unmarked or that the wallet is water resistant.

Looking after the leather and case

Secrid classifies Basco as water-absorbing leather. Do not clean it with water, which could be absorbed and change its colour. If it gets wet, gently blot it with a soft cloth. These are not the cleaning instructions for water-repellent covers, which require different care.

Secrid describes the Cardprotector as protecting cards against bending, breaking and unwanted RFID communication. This applies to cards inside the case, not documents in the outer wallet. The case provides mechanical access and protection, while the outer compartment adds storage.
