Product details
A black house, two pale hands and a pendulum: Modern Cuckoo pares the cuckoo clock down to a graphic silhouette. The small bird appears in the opening beneath the roof. This Karlsson KA5768BK version has birdsong with adjustable volume.
Allowing space for the clock
The model measures 41 cm high, 21.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm deep. Its case is made of ABS. On a pale wall, the black finish highlights the house outline and the pendulum extending below it.
Setting up the cuckoo before use
The manual lets you choose an eight-hour silent period. This choice is made during initial setup: start without batteries, using the time-setting wheel, then follow the manufacturer's steps to set the current time. Never move the hands directly.
The birdsong has three volume levels. Before attaching the pendulum, follow the instructions for unlocking its holder. Keep the manual, which is also useful when replacing the batteries.
Power and care
- Three AA batteries are required; they are not included.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- If the clock stops, replace all batteries or remove them.
- The manufacturer recommends replacing all batteries once a year, even if the clock is still working.
- Clean the case with a soft cloth, without corrosive cleaners or chemical solutions.
