Stripe wrapping paper | 3 m

Stripe uses pink and orange stripes to give a parcel a bold graphic rhythm. Unlike a design tied to a particular event, this Ohh Deer wrapping paper is chosen first for its colours and lines. It suits a gift for someone who loves bright decor as well as a small everyday surprise. Change the direction of the stripes to vary the presentation according to the shape of the object.

A roll to suit each parcel

Stripe wrapping paper comes as a three-metre roll, sold individually. Cut the length to suit the gift rather than starting with a precut sheet. Before cutting, try it around the box, leaving a little extra for the flaps. The number of parcels you can wrap depends entirely on their dimensions and how you arrange the paper; it is not fixed in advance.

Take care with folds and the message

Place the gift in the centre of the prepared piece, then check the direction of the pattern before closing the parcel. Make the folds gradually to avoid unnecessary bulk. If the object has an irregular shape, put it in a suitable box first: the paper is for presentation, not for holding or protecting a fragile object. Slip a card under a ribbon or string to keep the message visible without writing directly on the print.

Choose a finish that works with the design

To show off Stripe, pick out one colour from the design for the ribbon or label. A contrasting finish draws more attention to the parcel, while a neutral shade lets the illustration take centre stage. Choose these accessories separately: this reference is a roll of wrapping paper. The photographs show the pattern and how it looks wrapped; they do not represent an assortment of several rolls that you will receive.

Store the roll between occasions

After wrapping, roll up the remaining paper neatly and keep it away from moisture, splashes and friction. Avoid placing a heavy object on top to limit marks. Offcuts that are large enough can cover a small box or make a matching gift tag. This simple approach keeps the pattern in good condition for the next gift without having to unroll all the paper.
