Product details
The grey DGT 1500 chess clock supports rapid and blitz games with a display that can show tenths of seconds. It also lets you assign different times to the two players. It suits players who want precise time tracking with a single-period setup.
A chess clock for fast time controls
The extra digit shows the final moments of thinking time. Depending on the setting, the tenths display can be on, off or begin at a chosen point. You can adapt it to your game, keeping the display simpler at the start or more detailed near the end.
The DGT 1500 has bonus and delay modes. Its time-odds option gives the opponents different starting times, useful when players agree on different constraints. Decide these together before the game; the clock then applies the selected configuration.
A large display in a grey case
The 136 × 25 mm screen occupies much of the front. The top lever switches between players. Its horizontal shape keeps the information visible beside the board, and the grey colour works with a wooden board or club equipment.
Measuring 170 × 96 × 58 mm, the clock sits beside the game without a special setup. It weighs 220 g with its battery and runs on one included AA battery. The manufacturer provides for home and club use. Bear its single-period operation in mind when choosing a time control.

Getting familiar before play
The box contains the clock, a battery and manufacturer documents, including instructions available in French. For your first try, test the lever and display with a short time outside a game. Set your time control and check both sides before starting, so you can concentrate on the positions rather than the controls.
