Product details
This set of 6 green Duralex Picardie glasses contains six 31 cl tumblers made from tempered glass in France. It is the largest glass size in this selection, suited to water with meals, breakfast juice or a drink served with ice.
The green Picardie 31 cl as a water glass
A 31 cl glass holds more than a 25 cl glass while keeping the faceted Picardie design. For a lunch where water stays at the centre of the table, this size can be the main glass at each place setting. If you add ice, it takes up some of the capacity: 31 cl is the glass's capacity, not an amount of drink you should always pour.
The set contains six green glasses of the same size. You can lay six places with matching glasses or keep several ready for a shared breakfast. This pack is useful if you want to replace a mismatched set: it is neither a single tumbler nor a box of mixed colours. The stated capacity applies to each of the six glasses.
Compare its size with the 25 cl
Duralex gives a diameter of 9 cm and a height of 9.4 cm. Each glass in the set of six green Picardie 25 cl glasses measures 8.7 cm in diameter and 9 cm high. The 31 cl therefore adds capacity with slightly larger dimensions. On a narrow table already holding bowls and plates, this comparison helps you choose a size without relying on photographs alone.
For a deliberately smaller serving, the six clear 16 cl glasses are another option. They can serve different purposes: a small water glass alongside another drink, or a main drinking glass. These sets are separate products; comparing them does not add any glasses to the green 31 cl set.
Green alongside plain crockery
You could pair these tumblers with white plates and green checked napkins. The facets give the glasses texture, while the colour picks up a detail in the table linen. On bare wood, off-white crockery and a few woven placemats offer another option. Choosing the larger size and choosing the colour answer two separate questions: how much you want the glass to hold, and how you want the table to look.
